Introducing Test Case Preview
Today, we’re launching Test Case Preview — a new feature that empowers teams to review and choose which test cases to create before we generate them.
How It works
- Before clicking Generate Test Cases, you can select the box labeled 'Check and select test cases before creating'.
- After selecting Generate Test Cases a modal will appear showing a preview list of AI-generated test case titles including the number of test steps for each.
- Select only the tests you want to create and skip the rest.
With Test Case Preview, you can:
- Save time by avoiding unnecessary test cases.
- Keep your projects tidy and focused.
- Gain more control over which negative tests are included.
This feature is especially powerful for teams that want precision in their test case library without extra cleanup work.
Accessing Test Case Preview
To access this new feature, make sure you’ve updated the AI Test Case Generator to the latest version:
1. Go to Settings in the top right header menu and select Apps.
2. Under Jira Admin Settings, select Manage Apps.
3. Under User-Installed Apps choose AI Test Case Generator
4. Select Update
